As a qualified teacher, she has taught a wide range of learners.  She first began teaching alongside SPOD, where she ran courses for individuals who wanted to learn more about counselling people who were living with disability.  She now works as a Senior Practitioner in counselling for Devon Adult and Community Learning with a responsibility for the curriculum issues on the Devon wide provision ran by this service.   Sally has lectured in the UK and abroad and it was during a teaching trip in India that she talked with her colleague, and the dream of developing and creating Tower House Counselling became more concrete.

Sally will bring to the groups she teaches her enthusiasm. She feels passionate about the work she does and is very willing to share her own experiences to enable others to learn.  She will draw on her counselling practice to model to others the importance of a solid, knowledgeable and professional base for their work.  She believes in creating a safe and rich environment where learning can be positive and tailored to the needs of each individual learner.
